When you buy a voucher through Housing Perks, the money you save can be automatically used as a contribution towards your rent balance. It’s easy to set up and you’re always in control.
Step-by-step
Get started
- 01
Open the Housing Perks app and go to the Rent section in the menu at the bottom of your screen.

Turn On Rent Contributions.

Each time you buy a voucher the saving will go towards your “Next Rent Contribution”.
- 04
Rent Contributions are made every Friday and can take up to 10 business days to appear in your rent account.
That’s it. Each time you buy a voucher, your savings will go towards your rent.
For example
See the saving in action
Buy a £100 Asda voucher with a 4% rent contribution. You pay £100, get a £100 voucher, and £4 goes towards your rent. Use your voucher to pay online or in-store at ASDA.
You can switch back to receiving the savings instantly anytime in the app.
